At Hello Sun we offer personalized one-of-a-kind holiday rentals just like in a fine hotel. We have found, that the holiday rental industry tends to provide a very inconsistent experience to the guests. At Hello Sun we are dedicated to improvement.

Many companies operate listing rental homes directly by the homeowners. That means that once a guest books the property, they need to work directly with the homeowner in case of problems during their holiday. However, Not all homeowners are available all the time. This could be a hassle for homeowners and the holiday guests who do not want to spend their precious time on trouble solving.

Hello Sun lines are open 24/7  and we are ready to help our guests with any problem it might occur. We use local teams to guide and assist the guests in every way and you will never have to contact the owner directly. With Hello Sun you can be sure of an amazing holiday experience every time.

Our maps on the listing are very accurate, however, we are happy to send you each home’s full address — just get in touch.

At the booking date more than One months prior to arrival, only 20% of the total price will be required to hold the rental you have selected. The remaining 80% will be due at One month before your check-in date. 

If the booking date is less than One month prior to arrival , full payment will be due at the time of booking. 

Any booking can be cancelled and all payments refunded up to One month before date of arrival. Cancellations less than One month prior to arrival is NOT REFUNDABLE. 

For each rental, Hello Sun requires an amount specified on the rental agreement that the property is returned in proper condition.

The security deposit covers:

  • Damage or loss to accomodation contents
  • Excessive cleaning costs
  • Excessive electricity use (e.g. air conditioning on full with external doors left open).

A full and detailed check of the accommodation will take place by Hello Sun at departure. In case of any faults or damage, the cost will be deducted from the deposit and the remaining amount will be refunded immediately, unless the cost exceeds the amount of the security deposit. In that case an additional amount will be charged to cover the cost of damages or faults.

The cleaning fee is a one-time fee that covers cleaning after your departure to ensure that all Hello Sun guests arrive to a clean holiday home and will never have to worry about cleaning at departure.

Check-in is from 15.00 to 23.00 and departure is before 11.00. Check in or check out on different times results in an additional charge of €50.
If you plan to arrive outside office hours, please contact us in advance.

Keys will be delivered at the holiday home at arrival. Losing the keys will result in an additional charge of €50.

All accommodation have specific house rules, which must be respected. We also request that all Hello Sun guests follow the below policies to keep people and property safe:

  • Please behave as you would in your own home, with respect to property and neighbours.
  • Do not exceed the maximum occupancy of the home.
  • Parties or loud noise that can be heard outside the home or in adjacent units or any illegal activity are NOT permitted.
  • Pets are not allowed unless otherwise noted for specific properties and where you have paid a pet fee in connection with your booking in advance.
  • Smoking is not allowed in or around any home.
  • Check-in time is up to 15.00-23.00 and check-out time is before 11.00. Though it is possible to arrange in advance early check-in or late check-out against additional minor fee.
  • Please use common courtesy at the home by keeping it clean, reporting any problems or damages, washing dishes as used, taking garbage to the outside bins, leaving towels in the bathrooms and sheets in the bedrooms, and not re-arranging furniture.

In emergency cases Hello Sun has a 24/7  line, and otherwise Hello Sun will be at your disposal for any help you might need from 9.00 to 18.00 during your whole stay. Although our local teams are proactively tending to each home, we will also do everything possible to resolve any issues quickly. Very easy! Once you sign up, the ball starts rolling. We will start collecting your information, inspecting your home, make photos of your property, and creating your property listing. Normal activation includes taking new photos, creating a detailed listing, pricing, activating advertising on the main internet channels and starting to take reservations – all in as little as a few weeks! This can take a little bit longer depending on the homeowner’s schedule, or if a home is in the process of being converted from a residence or long-term rental.

We do everything we possibly can to meet all of our homeowners’ needs and give you the peace of mind that your property is in good hands. We will give tips and advice to help you get the most profitable rentals.

To some degree yes, as we do focus on quality rentals in prime locations. This could be a studio apartment in a downtown metro area or average home within a prime vacation destination. We will evaluate your home and let you know if we feel it will be a good fit for our program.

Yes. According to the law there are certain things that a short-term rental home must be equipped with.  – like furniture, appliances, cookware, and dinnerware.

We will of course work with you to make sure that you have everything in place. Please contact us for a quote without obligations. Well decorated homes tend to rent at a higher frequency, and we always encourage owners to have a home that shows well.

Yes. We do require WiFi to be available and we´ll recommend you to provide a Smart TV with ChromeCast. If not available, we can arrange internet, Chromecast (home TV) as well for a small fee.

WEEKLY RENTAL: Settlement to the Owner’s declared bank account:

Departure between day  1 – 15 in a month, settled on the 1st of the following month.

Departure between the 16th and 31st day of a month is settled the 15th of the following month.

LONG-TERM RENTAL / MONTHLY RENTAL: Settlement to owner’s stated bank account:

For rentals of duration 1 – 2 months: 1st or 15th of the following month.

For rentals over 2 months: Settled every month on the following 1st or 15th.

We list your home everywhere guests are looking for rentals! In addition to our own site, we’ll list your property on these major listing sites e.g.:

Homeaway,, airbnb

and of course via social medias such as:

Facebook, instagram

All of this totally free of charge for homeowners!

If you already have listed your home on one or several of these sites, well, don´t worry. We´ll work with you to avoid any double booking.

You can of course freely and at any time book your own property. Log in on your profile on our website and book or change already existing booking directly on the calendar. It is extremely important to make your bookings in good time, so we avoid double-bookings. If you want to have us clean your home after your stay, we will bill you on your owner’s statement for the cleaning. You may also choose to clean the home yourself.
