Shopping markets
We looooooove shopping! Costa del Sol street shopping markets are really cool! visiting these markets seems to be on most of our guest’s to-do lists. You can find everything, and we mean everything on these markets accompanied by live music and gastronomic experiences. So, instead of a normal day’s shopping, a trip to a street market becomes an absolute outing for the whole family and the prices are negotiable 😉
The markets are normally from 9am to 3 pm and are held in:
Monday: Marbella – near the car dealerships at the entrance to Marbella
Tuesday:Fuengirola – this is our favorite 😉 at the Fair Ground in the town center
Wednesday:Benalmadena Costa/Arroyo de la Miel – at the fairground behind Paloma Park, La Cala, in the fairground just off the A7 coastal road in La Cala de Mijas, and Estepona – Located next to the fair ground
Thursday:Torremolinos – next to the Water Park
Friday: Arroyo de la Miel – in the Tivoli World car park area.
Saturday : Fuengirola – One-of-a- kind Flea Market. probably the largest in Europe! 😉 Puerto Banus
Sunday: Torremolinos – Near the Water Park. Fuengirola –near the Mosque and the Sohail Castle.
Warning! as in all popular tourist attractions, there are pick-pockets around who pray on the innocence of some tourists so please be careful with your wallets, bags and belongings! Try and bargain a little, you can usually get some very good deals!
Have fun and don’t spend too much!
