Botanical Garden/Japanese Garden in Torremolinos!

A must visit for all Garden enthusiasts ! For only 3 euros you will have a fantastic experience!

the Botanical Garden has more than a thousand plant species, which can be observed from various viewpoints. A dozen different types of birds coexist, some of them being the only examples in the country. There is also a replica of the old Molino de Inca, which works due to a complex system that takes advantage of the course of the water. The recovery of a 17th century hydraulic flour mill has helped realign the area of the springs. The liquid element is the protagonist of the Molino de Inca Botanical Garden, not only due to its ornamental role but also because this area still hosts the springs of Torremolinos: Inca spring and Albercón del Rey spring, the latter visited by King Alfonso XIII in 1926.

La Casa de los Navajas (the Navajas house)-Torremolinos!

The house is open every day and the entry is free.

In the 1920s and 1930s, along with the first hotels such as Parador de Montemar and Castillo del Inglés (Santa Clara hotel), a number of wealthy families chose Torremolinos for their second homes. As a result, houses and buildings were constructed, some of which are of particular architectural interest, for example, the residence of the Navajas family, next to Bajondillo, or the Huerta del Rincón in Carihuela, which is private property. Casa de los Navajas is very close of Bajondillo beach and can be reached via calle de los Navajas or calle las Mercedes.

Malaga Cathedral!

Another popular attraction in Malaga! The cathedral was built between 1528 and 1782 on or near the site of a former mosque. While original plans had allowed for two towers, both lack of funds those donated to American Independence resulted in the completion of only one, giving rise to the name by which the cathedral is affectionately referred to, La Manquita, loosely interpreted as “one armed woman”.
